MEETING MINUTES - APRIL 1ST, 2005 |

1st Meeting: Friday, 04/01/05, 6:00 p.m. Attendees: Kaptain Sam Naibauer Eric Hiegl - Quartermaster Henri Roberts - Crew member Zac Newsom, Guest
· 6:00 p.m. Food & beverages served Discussion about time and date for future meetings. Reason for discussion - lack of attendance. · Proposed setting a new date & time that would be easier for all to members to attend. · Henri volunteered same location for next or future meetings. · Our Guest, Zac Newsom was invited to join the club and was accepted as a new member. · Pirate Ship Beads from the Gasparilla Pirate Fest were put up for sale. $2.00 for members; $3.00 + S&H from website. Kaptain Sam to post pictures & price on website. Total sales at the meeting = $2.00. Profits (less cost) to benefit the club. · Kaptain Sam awarded a Pirate Bandana to the Hostess. · Meeting adjourned to entertainment activities – Shooting Pool. Kaptain’s Comments: While our first attempt at a meeting was disappointing, good things happened. Those in attendance felt a definite comradeship and the same disappointment that others were not in attendance. Our most significant reward was the addition to the crewe of a new member, one who shares the camaraderie and the fellowship of the crewe. The most sobering moment was the realization that we would not be prepared to participate as a group in any upcoming events in the near future. While we realize that not everyone could come due to other commitments, those who could have attended and did not disappointed us greatly.
